Saint Alphonsus Medical Group seeks a BC/BE Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to become part of a physician led 500+ provider multi-specialty group with a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care.
- Our outpatient practice offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment for most emotional and interpersonal problems for adolescents, children and adults.
- Psychotherapeutic and psychopharmacologic interventions are provided via a multidisciplinary treatment team.
- No addiction medicine, no dual diagnosis.
- Spacious, recently renovated clinic setting adjacent to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center (10 minutes from downtown Boise)
Schedule: Traditional workweek, M-F 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., 34 patient contact hours per week. No weekends, no call, no inpatient work.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree;
- Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA psychiatry residency program;
- Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship training required;
- Board certification through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry (AOBNP) - or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment.
- Obtain Idaho medical licensure and Medical Staff privileges at SARMC;
- Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA
