This position reports to the Chief Medical Officer
Job Summary: Oversee quality improvement efforts based upon actionable data and industry best practices. Promote a culture of shared learning, process improvement, and recognition of goals met or exceeded. Collaborate with internal leaders to identify goals that support the organization's strategic direction. Lead a team of staff whose focus is to improve the health of our community, via assessment tools, analytics, process, and education. Validate EHR data and work diligently to influence workflows that support accurate data collection. Actively problem solve and engage as part of the solution in regards to risk mitigation. Lead the development of new reports, the cataloging of reports, and sharing of dashboard information and survey results. Seek out opportunities for improved population health strategies, and strive to improve quality of care, patient satisfaction, transparency/awareness of performance related to goals, and opportunities to improve safety. Work collaboratively to prepare the organization for future changes in healthcare, which impact service delivery/quality and the financial sustainability of the health center.

Required:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, data analytics, or related field
Experience in a health care setting; including primary responsibility for leading performance improvement efforts, quality initiatives, and data management/reporting or working with EHR data, case management, patient satisfaction surveys, etc.
Preferred:
Clinical background/licensure
Certification in Lean Six Sigma or related program
