The Clinical Deployment Team (CDT) program is an exciting new initiative which provides VHA with highly trained clinical staff ready to respond during emergent times. CDTs provide permanent, clinical staff dedicated to the continuity of Veteran healthcare and support to communities in times of crisis. ?These staff will be highly skilled, trained in emergency response, and deployment ready.  These additional CDT staff will complement the current Disaster Emergency Medical Personnel System (DEMPS) program, creating robust response capabilities to ensure continued readiness for our Veterans and those who care for them.  The CDT physician will operate under this guidance in addition to what is reflected in approved Provider Privileges. This position is part of a VHA Clinical Deployme
