VA Northern California Health Care System is looking for a dynamic and committed physician to lead our Geriatrics Program at the Sacramento VA Medical Center! This is a unique opportunity to be part of and lead a growing geriatrics team serving Veterans at VA Northern California Health Care System (NCHCS). As Medical Director, Geriatric Section, Geriatric and Extended Care (GEC) Service, this Supervisory Physician is involved in leadership and management of resources, organizational performance improvement, patient and employee satisfaction, environment of care, and strategic planning. This position reports to the Associate Chief of Staff/Geriatrics and Extended Care (ACOS/GEC) or Deputy Associate Chief of Staff/Geriatrics and Extended Care (Deputy ACOS/GEC).
