Cardiology Physicians provide acute evaluation and care for inpatients in the Medicine Wards/ICU, and care for outpatients in specialty clinics/ED. Cardiologists with specific training/interest in management of congestive heart failure are expected to assist in management of inotropic medications, recommendation for and assistance on facilitation of advanced heart failure therapies, evaluation for heart transplant, and post heart transplant treatment in conjunction with transplant center.
