The Hematologist-Oncologist is an internist who specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and/or prevention of disorders and cancers that affect the blood, bone marrow and immunologic, hemostatic and vascular systems. May treat for iron-deficiency anemia, hemophilia, sickle-cell disease, leukemia and lymphoma. May specialize in the management of solid tumors.
