Shift: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (on call as needed)

The role you’ll contribute:
Under general direction, the Health Park Supervisor is responsible for managing the operations for Health Park services lines at the assigned location to assure smooth and efficient flow. Is responsible, accountable, and empowered to deliver a seamless, personalized, and exceptional experience by assisting consumers with visit flow processes for all entities within the Health Park. Responsible for the time of service collections for all business lines. Utilizes the IHS performance improvement process in reaching the goals of health park services. Participates in and assists with meeting and maintaining all regulatory requirements. Supervises, hires, trains, and disciplines engagement specialist patient access team. Establishes and maintains ethical working relationships and good rapport with all Health Park stakeholders. Meets with customers, partners and team members to assure service levels are maintained (Rounding). Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

- Engages with other health park services lines to encourage AdventHealth’s Service Standards of Love Me, Make It Easy, Keep Me Safe, and Own It as well as the Health Park services standards.
- Proactively guides consumers through their Health Park experience, providing information about services, hours of operation, and highlighting features, events, engagement tools, etc.
- Assists consumers in the scheduling of appointments if needed and maintains knowledge of scheduling policies and procedures.
- Maintains working knowledge of Health Park scheduling systems and processes
- Maintains working knowledge of authorizations/pre-certifications, and/or benefit memos in order to meet and exceed consumer expectations.
- Develops and executes employee engagement
- Responsible for the time of service collections for all business lines within health park and creates performance plans when variances occur.
- Meets budgetary goals, providing action plans for recovery when variances occur.
- Leads data collection for Performance Improvements. Understands department performance trends and established standards. Contributes and encourages others to contribute toward process improvement by serving on PI teams as assigned.
- Utilizes patient service recovery resources when appropriate.
- Meets with Health Park leadership to keep them apprised of business. Promotes positive dialogue with respect to meeting or exceeding objectives. Attends meetings as requested.
- Ensures equipment is properly maintained by staff and contacts appropriate personnel when repairs needed. Ensures the safety of patients and employees. Adheres to all infection control standards. Appropriately utilizes personal protective equipment (PPE). Initiates action plans to correct non-compliance.
- Supports a continuous learning environment involving training and development relative to new technology, protocols, best practices and competency in services.
- Sets priorities and completes work within expected time frame. Manages daily operations. Mediates personnel issues as needed. Works closely with leaders on continuous improvement, updates to health park protocols.
- Utilizes computer system to maintain employee time and attendance records, research patient appointments and ensure accurate charges and modifiers are included to capture appropriate revenue.
- Maintains working knowledge of Health Park scheduling systems and processes knowledge of authorizations/pre-certifications, and/or benefit memos in order to meet and exceed consumer expectations.
- Ensures lobby environments are clean and professional. Submits work orders and maintenance requests for health park.
- Is responsible for recruiting, staffing, orienting, training, disciplining, and evaluating personnel in accordance to personnel policy and employee relations laws. Reviews employee time and attendance and monitors employee staffing and turnover. Performs time and attendance adjustments, monitors overtime, absenteeism and tardiness.
- Leads with fiscal management of health park operation including development and implementation of annual budget, cost management and revenue generation, accounts payable, and daily financial practices.
- Maintains the safe and efficient operation of the health park by monitoring work orders and equipment safety, overseeing vendors, and making appropriate recommendations for improving center.
- Ensures safety and security of health park by utilization of AdventHealth safety and security standards.
- May need to meet with Senior Executives and give presentations about and tours of Health Park.
QualificationsThe expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Associate’s degree in business, hospitality, or healthcare-related field OR
- Four years of experience as a lead, coordinator and/or supervisory experience in a medical, retail or hospitality setting.OR
- One year of engagement specialist OR
- One year of primary care plus concierge experience
