BSWH is seeking a BC/BE experienced General Surgeon to join our outstanding General Surgery care program in Marble Falls, TX. We are looking for a committed team player with a passion for patient care, with leadership skills to grow within our Department of Surgery, General Surgery practice. The ideal candidate should be focused on quality, and be able to effectively collaborate with referring physicians, agencies and other professionals to provide optimum patient care within our award-winning integrated health care system.

Position Highlights

• Community based General Surgery.
• Preferably 3-5 years of experience.
• We are seeking an established General Surgeon to assist and lead in developing outreach and growth in the service line, with the ability to build upon and support an established program of excellence for general surgery.

The 188,000 square-foot facility offers a wide network of medical and surgical services and a team of caregivers that provides comprehensive, personalized, quality healthcare. A specialty care clinic operates adjacent to the hospital.

Marble Falls is nestled in the heart of the beautiful Central Texas Hill Country region and is 45 minutes northwest of Austin, or 32 minutes northwest of Lakeway and Bee Cave. This location is also north of San Antonio, which is great for fun short trips.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Doctorate Degree in Medicine

- Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board

- Where Applicable - Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her speciality or demonstrate board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
