The Chief of Staff (COS) is fully responsible to the Health System Director for programs of patient care and the education activities of the clinical services. COS shall act as full assistant to the Health System Director and collaborate with Senior Executive Leadership Team in the planning, direction, coordination, and supervision of administrative activities in the care of patients. Physician leadership and manager positions may be facility Chiefs of Staff. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
