Atlantic Medical group, Primary Care at Totowa, part of Atlantic Medical Group, is currently seeking an experienced full time Medical Office Associate I.
The Medical Office Associate will manage phones, schedule/confirm appointments, greet patients, enter demographics & patient information, verify insurance coverage, accurately complete necessary forms, collect co-pays, balance cash, maintain schedule in EMR system and process pre-certs/authorizations & referrals as well as medical records releases.
High School Diploma required
Prior administrative experience in a physician practice preferred
Able to multitask and work flexible hours to accommodate physicians' schedule
Computer literacy in Word and Excel helpful
Experience with EPIC EMR system preferred
Bilingual (Spanish required)
