About the PositionThe Department of Medicine/Medicine Service Line is seeking a seasoned physician leader for the position of Vice Chair, Clinical Operations. Responsibilities and tasks of the role include:• Working with the chair on all matters related to clinical operations.• Earn the trust and confidence of department and hospital leadership, administrators, physicians, and staff.• Ensure high quality patient care through development and standardization of care processes and protocols, educational seminars, metrics, outcome measures and process improvement initiatives.• Participate in managing the department in a fiscally responsible manner.• Ensure the productivity of physician faculty and support staff.
