A Hospitalist is a dedicated physician who is willing to work nights and weekends and is capable of taking care of complex medical patients. A relocation or recruitment incentive may be available for a highly qualified candidate. This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP). Clinical responsibilities of the Hospitalist will be to work within the scope of an internist including, but not limited to the following: Admission and discharging of patients, daily work rounds and daily management of patients under their care; initiation and expedition of consults, ordering and follow-up of all diagnostic tests and studies.
