Duke Health seeks a Family Medicine Physician for July 2022 in an established practice with Kernodle Clinic, Duke’s flagship practice in their western market. Kernodle Clinic is also Duke’s largest community-based multi-specialty practice of 50 physicians and 36 mid-level providers covering 15 medical and surgical specialties. The practice includes 75,000 sq. ft. main office, including a walk-in clinic, in Burlington and two primary care satellite offices in each of Mebane and Elon.
This unique opportunity offers both the intimate environment of a small practice while being connected to a thriving multispecialty group and one of the nation’s finest academic institutions.
Hired physician will join two Family Medicine Physicians and two nurse practitioners in the Mebane office. The physicians share office call with three other Kernodle FP physicians for a call rotation of 1:6 with no hospital rounding. The office is open weekdays, 8-5pm. Kernodle Clinic’s array of specialists offers the Mebane Family physicians a built-in referral network, some of which hold clinic in the Mebane office.
Historic Mebane, one of the fastest growing areas in North Carolina, is a fun place to be where eclectic and unique shopping, dining and activities abound. Centrally located between Burlington and Durham, Mebane provides easy access to both the Triangle (Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill) as well as the Triad (Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point).
