This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. Learn more. VA Connecticut Healthcare System seeks a dedicated physician to provide primary care to ambulatory patients at our Waterbury Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC). This is a satellite clinic of the VA Connecticut Healthcare System located in Waterbury, CT. Our CBOCs provide primary care and mental health services to approximately 7000 Veterans. The clinics are staffed by four full-time physicians and two part-time physicians. They operate as fully-functional medical homes with team-based, performance driven primary care. The candidate will become part of these care teams, responsible for approximately 1,300 patients, with time split between the two campuses. VA Primary Care functions as part of the larger VHA integrated health system with a highly sophisticated electronic medical record and excellent support.
