We are recruiting board certified adult critical care physicians at Carolinas Medical Center (CMC), the flagship hospital of Atrium Health. CMC is a large tertiary care hospital with ~1000 beds, including 140 adult ICU beds, and operates as a Level I trauma center and transplant center. The practice provides 24/7 inpatient ICU coverage in a high-acuity practice environment covering 6 ICUs with an established group of 28 Critical Care and Pulmonary physicians and 19 APPs.
Details of position and qualified candidates:
• Fellowship training and experience in adult medical and surgical critical care medicine, with or without additional inpatient pulmonary medicine experience • A standard position includes day, evening and night shift work • A dedicated weekend or evening and night shift physician is also prioritized for recruitment • Preference for applicants with post-fellowship CCM practice and experience in neurologic and cardiac critical care, which is part of our clinical responsibility
