INTEGRIS Health in Oklahoma City is looking for a Palliative Medicine physician to join our rapidly growing interdisciplinary Palliative Care program.
Reporting to the INTEGRIS Hospice and Palliative Care Program Director, this physician position will be responsible for provision of palliative care consultations, via in person and telemedicine visits, within INTEGRIS hospitals and clinics in the Oklahoma City area. Duties will include consulting with attending physician and the interdisciplinary team to establish a written plan of care and facilitate access to appropriate supportive care services. In addition, the physician will participate weekly in the interdisciplinary team meetings to review active cases and documentation. Compensation Package Includes:
The INTEGRIS Palliative Care team is an interdisciplinary team made up of physicians, advanced practice nurses, registered nurses, social workers and pastoral care. INTEGRIS Palliative Care works side by side with INTEGRIS Hospice home care and INTEGRIS Hospice House when transition to end of life care is needed. INTEGRIS Hospice House is a 12 bed inpatient hospital dedicated to Hospice inpatient care and is located in Oklahoma City. About INTEGRIS Health INTEGRIS Health has nine Centers of Excellence, a comprehensive transplant institute, one of the nation’s foremost burn centers and a full-service heart hospital with an advanced cardiac LVAD and ECMO program. We have cancer treatment facilities, rehabilitation centers, primary care clinics, mental health facilities and home health agencies located throughout Oklahoma. There are approximately 1000 inpatient beds in the Oklahoma City metro area.

Ideal candidates will have a strong desire for growing our inpatient consultative service for Palliative Care. Board certification or board eligibility in Hospice and Palliative Medicine (HPM) is preferred but not required.
