Seeking BC Dermatology Physician for Excellent VA Staff Opportunity in Beautiful Fresno, CA

Position Information

The VA Central California Health Care System in Fresno, CA is actively recruiting to fill Board Certified Staff Dermatology Physician (BE considered) to help care for our Veterans – American’s Heroes. Selected candidate will be considered for a faculty appointment at UCSF, Fresno, & be involved with education & teaching of Dermatology residents in our residency program plus medical students, medicine residents & other providers. VA Central California Health Care System (VACCHCS), located in Fresno, California, is part of VA Sierra Pacific Network (VISN21), which includes facilities in California, Nevada, and Hawaii. VACCHCS is a 114-bed acute care, general medical and surgical center with state of the art primary, secondary and tertiary care in major diagnostic, and treatment specializations. In addition, a 60-bed Community Living Center (CLC) is located on campus and provides skilled nursing and rehabilitation care.

VACCHCS has 40,000 Veterans currently enrolled for health care eligibility and serves more than 28,000 Veterans in six counties in California’s San Joaquin Valley. The six counties include Tulare, Kings, Fresno, Madera, Merced and Mariposa.

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, (May be required to work evenings or weekends as a 24/7 Full-Time Physician).

•Must be U.S. Citizen – Non-US Citizens may be considered

•Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the U.S.

•Board Certification in Dermatology preferred, but Board Eligibility may also be considered
