CARDIOTHORACIC INTENSIVIST

The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. (TPMG) currently has a full-time position available to work in both the cardiac operating room and the cardiac intensive care unit of the Department of Cardiovascular Anesthesia at Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara, CA.

Candidate must be comfortable with all forms of general cardiac surgeries, structural heart procedures and mechanical circulatory support systems (e.g., LVAD, RVAD, VV-ECMO, VA-ECMO, Impella management). Additionally, will have a successful record of clinical and service excellence, BC/BE in Anesthesia and Critical Care Medicine, fellowship training in Cardiac Anesthesia and Critical Care Medicine, and be Board Certified or pending board certification in Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography.

• Located in the Silicon Valley, about 1 hour away from San Francisco and 4 hours from Lake Tahoe
• Join a high-volume Cardiac Center with 800+ open cardiac cases per year
• Cardiac cases only. No obstetric or pediatric cases. Rarely EP cases. Excellent working relationship with the cardiac surgeons and critical care team.
• Equitable scheduling in both operating room and intensive care unit
