We are seeking a neonatologist to join our team of BC neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners to provide in-house coverage for Saint Luke's Health System in Kansas City, Missouri.
Saint Lukes Health System offers comprehensive neonatal care with advanced ventilator support and encompasses four NICUs
The main unit at St Luke's Hospital is a regional perinatal referral center with a 48 bed, Level-IIIB NICU offering iNO, HFOV and HFJV
Admissions annually are over 450 with an average daily census of 35
Other units include a 15-bed Level-IIIA NICU, two Level-II NICUs and well-baby coverage
The main unit has in-house coverage and an NNP team available 24/7, other sites offer out-of-house coverage and also have an NNP team 24/7
There is a HMBANA affiliated donor milk bank on site and robust telehealth use
Active involvement in the practice's QI initiatives is expected and supported, education is available and all are encouraged to pursue individual areas of interest
