The Medical Director role for Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) offers a unique opportunity to help develop a PACE program from the ground up. Edenbridge Health, Concerto Health, and Capital Caring Health are developing a PACE program in Northern Virginia, scheduled to open in mid-2021. We are looking for a skilled physician leader, committed to the service of frail elders, who will help lead the PACE team and the overall clinical model of care.
Location: Alexandria, VA
With a full PACE team, the Medical Director is responsible for development, implementation, and clinical operations of the program. In collaboration with PACE staff and clinical partners, the physician leader develops and implements quality standards, ensures a high level of patient experience, and manages human and financial resources. This person is also responsible for building and sustaining relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, partner providers, and facilities.

Experience Requirements: The Medical Director must have at least 3-5 years of related medical practice or leadership positions for care of older adults with advance illness. Demonstrated skills in medical leadership, or Medical Director role is preferred.
Education Requirements: The Medical Director must have a MD or DO from an accredited institution. The Medical Director must also be board certified in internal medicine or family medicine. Completion of fellowship or some advanced training in Geriatrics and/or Hospice and Palliative medicine is preferred.
Licensure Requirements: The Medical Director must have medical practice licensure from the governing body for medical practice for the District of Columbia, State of Maryland, and/or Commonwealth of Virginia. DEA and State Controlled Substances Registration in jurisdiction is required.
