LIFE Geisinger is excited to announce their expansion into Schuylkill County with their 5th center opening Summer 2020 in Minersville, PA. We’re presently hiring an Outreach and Enrollment Coordinator.
LIFE Geisinger is a unique and innovative program for older adults designed to give them the support they need to live at home. The LIFE Geisinger program helps seniors live independently, while taking advantage of our comprehensive daily living and health services.
We offer a full range of health and medical services, at our day health centers or in a participant’s home, designed to help seniors maintain their health and independence.
Develops and oversees the LIFE Geisinger Outreach and Enrollment Plan, advertising campaign and associated written and electronic materials within the defined departmental operating budget. Responsible to develop and implement marketing strategies within the healthcare and senior service communities through presentations, education opportunities and maintaining relationships with referral sources. Maintains a referral tracking system and routinely reports findings to the LIFE Geisinger Administrative Team.
Reports to the Center Manager, LIFE Geisinger
COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Must possess strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Strong public speaking skills for large and small groups required.
Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills. Detailed oriented, extremely well organized and able to plan and problem solve. Ability to establish effective relationships with community member, referral sources and co-workers. Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare clear and concise reports, correspondence and written materials.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field required.
· Minimum of three to five years’ experience in community outreach, marketing or related business experience required
· 1 year of prior experience working with the elderly population required.
· Community Health experience preferred.
· Experience with Microsoft Office
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work is typically performed in a community environment. Commonwealth of Pennsylvania drivers license and car available for work. This position is considered light in nature as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor. This position is classified as exposure category III concerning occupational exposure to the hepatitis B virus (HBV) and the human immunodeficiency (AIDS).
