JOB TITLE: Community Programs - Medicare Intern (college or graduate level)

Internship period is May - December 2020
By working in a professional team setting, the undergraduate or graduate level student will contribute towards sales production, customer service and administrative processes relevant to the health care insurance industry. Student will participate in experiential learning that integrates knowledge and theory learned in the classroom with practical application and skills development in a professional setting. Position is in sales & marketing team environment, focused on the collection of information & data in order to best serve our audience. Additional opportunities may include exposure to community events, outreach to stakeholders and engagement with community members.
COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
COMMUNICATION SKILLS I: Demonstrates competence in written, oral and electronic communication skills PROBLEM SOLVING: The ability to review issues/problems and develop/reach a solution. COMPUTER SKILLS II: Proficiency in MS Office support tools available at the desktop (e.g., e-mail, presentation software and spreadsheets).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Preferred Undergraduate or Graduate Level. Majors: Business, Health Care or Marketing.
Graduate student in good standing required. The internship should be related to the student's career goals, areas of interest or expertise
