Atlantic Health is currently seeking a full-time Geriatrician to join our dynamic team as a clinical educator.
The qualified physician will join the faculty of the Overlook Medical Center Internal Medicine residency program.
Responsible for the provision of primary care services in geriatric focused practices including outpatient, inpatient, and assisted living settings with direct supervision of Advanced Practice Providers, Residents, and Medical Students.
Participate in the education of the Internal Medicine residents and students.
Lead the further development of the geriatric practice of Overlook Medical Center.
Provide leadership and geriatrics expertise to healthcare professionals within the Medical Center.
Collaborate with Behavioral Health on delirium prevention and management initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have the desire to build a vibrant geriatric practice that provides high value care and delivers an exceptional patient experience.
*Applicants must be licensed to practice medicine in the state of New Jersey. DEA License, CDS Registration and Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine required. *
